Welcome to At Home in the Northwoods (formerly Northwoods Classical Academy).  I home educate four children – the Explorer, 8; the Architect, 11; the Investigator, 13; and the Artist, 16.

I feel fortunate to be able to homeschool. Though it’s not always easy, I strive to keep things simple and stay focused on what’s most important.

On this blog I share experiences or ideas that have helped us.  My degrees are in Math, and you’ll find math and other curricula reviews here.  I also sometimes write about quilting and share outdoor photography.

Thanks for visiting.  ~ Jennie (Fractalmama)
